Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Vietur. These Terms and Conditions explain the rules that apply when you browse our website, request a quotation, place a booking, or purchase a tour, transfer, or related travel service from us. By using the website or confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.
1. About Vietur
Vietur provides travel planning, packaged tours, transfers, and related destination services. Specific tours may be operated directly by Vietur or by selected local partners, suppliers, guides, transport operators, hotels, or activity providers.
2. Booking Requests and Confirmation
A booking request is not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from Vietur.
- Prices, availability, room inventory, departure schedules, guide language availability, and supplier capacity may change before confirmation.
- We may ask you to provide traveler names, contact information, passport details, pickup information, dietary needs, or other operational details required to deliver the service.
- If a service cannot be confirmed as requested, we may offer a reasonable alternative or refund any amount paid for the unavailable portion.
3. Prices and Inclusions
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the quoted price only includes the services described in the confirmed itinerary or booking summary.
Typical exclusions may include:
- international or domestic flights
- visas and travel documents
- personal insurance
- optional activities not shown as included
- meals or beverages not listed as included
- personal expenses, gratuities, laundry, minibar, and similar extras
Taxes, service charges, local fees, and fuel-related surcharges may be included or excluded depending on the product. The final confirmation issued by Vietur controls.
4. Payment Terms
Vietur may require:
- a deposit to secure a booking
- full payment by a stated due date before departure
- immediate full payment for last-minute bookings or non-refundable services
If payment is not received on time, we may release the booking, cancel unconfirmed services, or treat the reservation as cancelled.
5. Changes Requested by the Traveler
If you ask to change travel dates, passenger names, hotel category, route, pickup point, activity mix, or any other material part of the booking, we will try to assist. However:
- changes are subject to supplier availability
- price adjustments may apply
- amendment fees may apply
- some fares, tickets, rooms, or special-rate products cannot be changed once confirmed
6. Cancellation by the Traveler
Cancellation terms depend on the service type, lead time, supplier rules, and whether the booking contains non-refundable elements. Unless a stricter product-specific rule is provided in writing, the following general principles apply:
- deposit amounts may be non-refundable once supplier commitments are made
- cancellation charges usually increase closer to the departure date
- no-shows and unused services are normally non-refundable
- separately ticketed transport, event tickets, permits, and special promotions may be fully non-refundable
The cancellation conditions stated in your final confirmation, invoice, or custom quotation control over general website wording.
7. Changes or Cancellation by Vietur
Occasionally we may need to change or cancel part of a service because of circumstances such as:
- weather or sea conditions
- road closure, venue closure, or destination restrictions
- supplier overbooking or equipment failure
- safety concerns
- force majeure events
- government orders, border rules, or public-health restrictions
If this happens, Vietur may offer:
- a comparable alternative
- a revised schedule or route
- a credit for the affected portion
- a refund for the part we are unable to operate, where appropriate
Vietur is not responsible for indirect losses such as missed onward arrangements booked separately by you unless required by law.
8. Traveler Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- checking that your names, dates, and booking details are correct
- carrying valid passports, visas, permits, vaccination records, and any required documents
- arriving on time for pickups, departures, check-ins, and activities
- following lawful instructions from guides, drivers, vessel crews, attraction staff, and operational partners
- assessing whether a tour or activity is suitable for your age, health, fitness, and personal condition
If a traveler’s conduct causes danger, disruption, property damage, or repeated refusal to follow reasonable operational instructions, Vietur or the local operator may refuse service without refund to the extent permitted by law.
9. Health, Safety, and Special Requirements
You must inform us before confirmation if any traveler has:
- reduced mobility
- significant medical conditions
- pregnancy-related travel considerations
- severe allergies
- dietary restrictions
- special baggage or equipment needs
We will try to communicate these requests to suppliers, but not every request can be guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
10. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that every traveler obtains appropriate travel insurance covering, where relevant:
- trip cancellation or curtailment
- medical expenses
- personal accident
- baggage loss or delay
- activity-related risks
- emergency evacuation
Travel insurance remains the traveler’s responsibility unless explicitly sold as part of the booking.
11. Supplier and Third-Party Services
Some parts of your trip may be performed by independent third-party suppliers. In those cases:
- their operational rules may also apply
- they may impose their own cancellation, check-in, luggage, conduct, or safety rules
- Vietur acts as the contracting party, arranger, reseller, or local coordinator depending on the product structure described in the booking
Where law allows, liability relating to third-party performance may be limited to the extent that the issue results from that supplier’s acts or omissions outside Vietur’s reasonable control.
12. Force Majeure
Vietur is not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, civil unrest, strike, epidemic, pandemic controls, transportation shutdown, utility outage, government action, or similar force majeure events.
13. Website Content and Accuracy
We try to keep the website current, but destination details, activity descriptions, travel times, route order, photographs, and hotel references are illustrative and may change. Minor differences do not automatically entitle a refund.
14. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content on this website, including text, layout, branding, graphics, and curated travel information, belongs to Vietur or its licensors. You may not copy, republish, scrape, or commercially exploit this content without permission.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vietur is not liable for:
- indirect or consequential losses
- missed enjoyment expectations based on subjective preference
- losses caused by traveler delay, incomplete documents, or failure to follow instructions
- separate arrangements booked independently by the traveler
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Complaints and Service Issues
If you experience a problem during travel, you should notify Vietur or the local service operator as soon as reasonably possible so we have a fair opportunity to assist. Post-travel complaints should be sent with the booking reference and relevant evidence within a reasonable period after service completion.
17. Privacy
Personal data submitted through the website or during booking is handled under our Privacy Policy. Operational data may be shared with relevant suppliers only to the extent necessary to deliver the confirmed service.
18. Governing Rules
These terms are governed by the rules stated in the final booking contract and, where applicable, the laws that mandatorily apply to the service and customer relationship.
19. Contact
Questions about these Terms and Conditions can be sent to Vietur using the contact details shown on the website or in your booking correspondence.
